Upgrade Pump Stations Telemetry System Project No. 1766.0
This project will replace the District ISAC regular phone line telemetry system with Flygt MultiSmart system to monitor eleven publicly owned pump stations. The District’s telemetry system is vital to monitoring and operating the District’s pump stations which convey wastewater to its regional treatment plant, Silicon Valley Clean Water. With this new system, the District receives alarms 24/7 in the event of pump station irregularities or failures and can remotely stop or start pumps in emergency situations. The project is under design with anticipated construction in summer of 2024.
